Anybody else use rock tumblers to clean their coins?

I just bought one at harbor freight yesterday for 21.00 Its pretty cheap, but seems to work good. I just put about 350 pennies in it with a little bit of aquarium gravel and dishsoap and agua. Any suggestions for different media, and how long to run it. I did it for about 2 hrs and they turned out pretty decent.

Been using a small one for many years now. I use Soft Scrub, handful of sand and water, let it run 2-5 hours. Pennies take longer usually. One time it stopped running and I found the belt had slipped so I adjusted it. Keep that in mind maybe. Steve in so az

and that is a good way to do it! not with any coins that might have value though!
