Found a "new" beach top play at yesterday. Used a tank and a half of air and couldn't stop the beeps!!! Everywhere I went the machine wouldn't stop beeping!! LOL This is only the third beach that has driven me batty like that. Anyway when all was finished for the evening, 9:45 at night and couldn't see anymore, I ended up with the following treasures.

42 new quarters, 28 new dimes, 36 nickels, 105 houses pennies, 2 brass religious medals one on a chain, 2 brass and one aluminum ring, one amusement park token, a zipo lighter and 3 old Tootsie toy cars. LOL now the good stuff!!!

1 Standing liberty and 2 Washington quarters, 5 merc dimes, one war nickel , 24 wheaties, 3 silver chains, 2 silver religious medals, A silver diabetic dog tag, 2 silver bracelets, and a 14K men's wedding band and a very old gold ring with the only marks inside are a ships anchor and a K next to it. 9.7 grams of gold total. 166.3 grams of silver (5.85oz).

I also found 4 silver dollar size Chevrolet tokens One side says You get the dime now go after the whole dollar. Other side is pie pieces each marked... Wheel and axle 15

Great hunt - love findin' those virgin/unhunted sites!! Congratulations on all the good finds and on finding virgin beach!

When I read your intro, I thought you had run into a heavily junked out beach
and your machine wouldn't stabilize. BUT....with beeping of the kind you experienced,
I would have been totally stoked to hunt there!! Keep us posted when you decide
to go back. Congratulations to you and Nice finds........Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTG!!

I think the ships anchor denotes british hallmarking. You can look up where it was made and what the carat is by those hallmarks.

You could send me a PM and tell me where this lake is:lol:

That is sweet! jim

it is 14K gold. I did research on line and here is what I found. An anchor and a capital K is from Ripley-Howland MFG Co. Manufacturing Jewelers, Boston, MA, and New York, NY, USA) - ca 1887 - 1912

Jim I will be more than happy to tell you where this lake is!!! I love to share the wealth. It is in Michigan!!

Virgin lake in Michigan?!? Wow....that seems as rare as some of your finds. Every lake and beach in my area of SW Michigan seems to be pretty worked over. I'd love to get scuba certified and dive some of the river swimholes...I would imagine yet might yield some goodies. Would love to see some pics of your finds!!
