I think the 2500 is getting a little long in the tooth. Anyone know if a newer lighter 2500 or something brand new is coming out soon?

Garrett is very good at keeping secrets. I haven't heard of anything (yet).

I haven't heard a thing and I'm one of their field testers. I don't think the success of the 250 has worn off yet. Course they upgraded the 2500 with the new mineralization chip. Plus they are doubling the size of the factory - maybe after that is completed.

Yes they are. I never hear a peep until the detector is on the UPS truck headed my way.
