Any video demonstrating the Goldquest?

Can it discriminate between high and low conductive, similar to the whites TDI?

I have a Goldquest and although some shallow iron and nails ring loud, wide and tend to double beep at some point when you sweep at different angles, it's a rough guess. That's about the best discrimination it has ( I have only had it a few months, so there may be others who use it all the time and can 'hear' differences.

The Quest does have pulse delay and SAT adjustments plus 1 or 2 filters. It is a fantastic machine and the best PI I have used on the beach in terms of stability, depth, ease of use and pin pointing.

It does not have the high/low, low/high like the Infinium or the Low or High tone discrim like the TDI. Also, it does not have a ground balance option like the TDI, Infinium or SCAN.

The Gold SCAN is a different animal and I think some of the qualities of the TDI like the ground balancing and low or high conductive target separation were modeled after it.

Thank you, That is what I gathered from my investigation of the GQ3. I dont think I will get a tremendous amount of beach or prospecting time.
Essentially the TDI is what I'm looking for in functionality and price. Else I would make serious consideration for the GS5c.
