Any tips for a Sea Hunter Mark II newbie?

I just purchased a new Sea Hunter Mark II, and will be headed to the Cayman Islands at the end of the week. I have been running my Ace 250 for about a year, but am new to a PI machine. Took it out in the yard this afternoon, and had trouble getting it to quiet down. Started out in "Standard Elimination" mode with the Elimination set to 0. Threshold was set to just a faint tone like on the DVD. The machine would begin to quiet down with the Elimination bumped up to about 4. The machine was also more quiet in the "Discrete Elimination" mode. I have not had the machine around the water yet. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Had mine about three weeks now and love it .-- I run discrimination about 4 1/2 -- tone down low and dig everything Tip if you get a faint signal (dig it.) Have fun show us your finds ---- Graw
