Hello all, I just picked up a Tesoro Tiger Shark and gave it a test run on the beach. Getting alot of chatter near the water. Does better on the dryer sand. Any tips would be helpfull.
Thanks.

what area of the country are you hunting? I found my tigershark ran very smooth in wet and in the water if i turned the sensitivity back just a touch, hardly had to reduce it at all really, on the florida gulf beaches..on the west coast of b.c. i had to put up with the chatter, it lessened with reduced sens but never disappeared, i think to run in that mineralization i'd have had to almost turn sens to zero to smooth it out.
One other thing, in both instances it only ran smooth in salt mode and disc mode.
Hope that helps you.

Scott you know your unit, do the same in salt/disc mode reduce senc works perfect here on assateagque off chincoteague,Island Va <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Thanks for the tip Scott. I live in Connecticut. Gave the Shark a test at the ocean and all I got was alot of chatter in the wet sand. Worked well on dry sand. I can't seem to adjust the threshold correctly in salt mode. I'll try adjusting the sens.
Thanks-Charles
