Just moved to Middletown from the west coast and looking for a club or other THers to talk to or get together with.

Detectors used: Garrett Ace 250,Garrett GTI 2500, just bought a Minelab Safari before the move and need to get out and learn to use it.

I heard there was detecting club not too far away in Lancaster, PA. Does anyone know if it is still active and how to contact it?

Thanks! I will definitely be checking it out when things settle down a bit. We have only been in town a week and still waiting on the moving van with our things so still pretty hectic around here!!

I found the website for the LRRC but did not see any way to contact anyone from the club except for the mailing address for memberships? You would think they would have some way to contact for more info other than that. My current work schedule would not allow me to attend any meetings because of the distance between here and Lancaster, but I might still be interested in joining if I could find out more info about the club. Does anyone here belong to it? Or have contact info other than a mailing address?

From what I have been able to find out, the closest clubs to my area (Harrisburg/Middletown, PA)are a good 40-50 miles away. A bit hard to make it to meetings in the evening during the week with my work schedule. Would love to hear from anyone closer to my area! I know there have to be some out there somewhere? Doesn't matter what kind of detector they use or how long they have been detecting. Would love to just meet someone from this area that might like to get together sometime (in the spring after the weather gets better)?

Sping sounds good:detecting: I live in york and there's lots of places to hunt between you and me.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Things have been busy with the holidays. Would love to talk to you more! I can be reached at DirtFisher60@gmail.com. Like I said in previous posts, I've only been here a few months from the West Coast and am looking for someone local to get to know and hunt with as time allows. Look forward to hearing from you again!
