Any suggestions to improve the coin&jewelry program

kickback

New member
I've been focusing on tot lots hunting in the basic coin and jewelry program.I did take Robs suggestion and made the nickel tone 255.That makes them stick out. Thanks Rob.Any other adjustments to the program that you make would be appreciated.I'm using the D2 coil then the 3X6 to get closer to poles and pipes.I'm digging all signals above iron.Found a small 10k snowflake pin yesterday along with 6 other pieces of jewelry and$4,23 in clad,Thanks.Bill

Seems to be working fine. You could lower your RD for a faster response as the trash increases.

Make sure you have mixed mode on (unless there is a lot of trash). It will help you zero in on a target that you may otherwise overlook.

Investigate all shallow Repeatable Foil hit's........ -5 to +15..... Especially for Tot Lot Hunting...... The V seems to love Small Jewelery & Necklaces.... good luck on your tot Lot adventure.

Usually in the tot lots depth isn't the main consideration. Finding targets in the trash (foil bits) and around the metal equipment are the adjustments needed. A smaller coil could be the best improvement.
