:help: I was using my SUPER 12 coil and when I TURNED my GAIN pass 9 or the arrow it gives me an OVERLOAD SIGNAL :puke:even if i hold the coil up in the air it does it. I switched to my D2 and my 4x6 coils and everything works fine. I just can't figure it out :shrug:so I've came to the professionals. At first I thought it was my detector but, I've done ruled that out since the other coils work. I've had this coil for about a year or so,I bought it off the DETECTOR ACCESSORIES and I haven't had any problems at all with it. I was wondering since I didn't buy it brand new if Whites would fix it if that indeed is the problem.:surrender: Oh yea long as I don't go pass 9 it works fine.

I've never had any coils overload in the air on my MXT with the gain up to the max of +3. These are both Whites and Excelerator coils. With the gain in the high range I can sometimes get them to overload on a surface or shallow coin but never just in the air. It sounds like a bad coil. Whites will fix the coil, if or how much they will charge only they can tell you. Rob

Yup, sounds like you've got a sick coil. :stretcher: Hope it gets fixed soon. HH to all, Nancy

Yep a sick coil OR something stuck between your coil and your skid plate. Clean that out first and see if it still does it.

You aren't alone. I was interested in this coil, but when I make same thing like you there was Overload.
It's good that other coils work without problems.
