any suggestions as where to go around VA beach ?

Hi, I've never been to your part of the world, but, when I'm at the beach, I detect around the aquaducts where water runs out into the ocean. I've found a lot of coins where the sand washed away in these places, especially after a good rain storm.

I would suggest to hit the "lane". It is the area between the High tide and the low tide. It seems to be very rewarding for some people. There is always the dry sand too. It can been good to me. There are several people from different MD forums from the VA beach area and they always have great finds.

But I have no idea where to go in this area. I guess I do not expect anyone to tell me where they go. I know there is alot of civil war attractions around. just checking Thanks
