Any small LED light ideas for lighted screen?

Just wondering if anyone has explored a mall LED light for night hunting with the GBP or G2? I am looking for something very compact that will light up the screen face and can be mounted to the control housing.

Hunt youtube, seen guy put them on ace 250 or 350, mounted on the outside above screen, got blue lites from radio shack, 3.5 to 4 volt bulbs, had to run wires though side of plastic housing and around to front under top lip, if I can it I will post link

I'm getting old I think they should put them on all detectors over $500. They help a lot had a F75SE loved the Back light sold it got T2SE NO back light. sometimes have hard time seeing the face even in day light. Never had that on the F75SE.

I think they should all have an adjustable, red backlight like the F-19. It is one of the best things about the machine

A few years ago, I got myself a little clip on LED with a flexible neck for a few bucks...I thought I'd tape it to the housing so I could hunt at night, super early before work and all that...then, I just sort of clipped it to my shirt front so I could see the screen, then one night, I just said 'the hellwiddit' and have been hunting the past few years in the dark by tones alone...

I found I really like hunting completely dark, no lights at all, not even to check finds...it seems to make your ears a lot sharper since you are deprived of sight and are forced to rely on your hearing which seems to work a lot better than eyes do for us..anyway, at the time, thinking back, I thought hunting blind with no backlight or screen illumination would be hard, but it's not, in fact, tone hunting in the dark is a lot faster, and nobody can see you...once your brain is deprived of the sense of sight, the ears sure do sharpen up by multiples... I do a quick parameter check set up in front of my car, and go out into the dark and swing away..
Mud.

a fellow dark hunter although I do like some light even some ambient stuff helps so I don't trip over stick my head in the hole or something

if you need a light go for F19 ??
