I'd like to do the following mods to my Scorpion:

Armrest to a Tesoro type armrest-the Garrett one is bulky and I don't care for it much
Waterproofing-I know this is done on many detectors but haven't much of a clue how!
Convert headphone jack from mono to stereo

Any ideas/tips are appreciated! I did do a search first but only used 'scorpion' in my terms, so forgive me if this has been discussed before...

Hmmm.. I don't find anything in searches even on other forums either. Guess I'll have to be the pioneer! LOL... I'll post up whatever I make that actually works!
 
About any kind of armrest will fit, just have to drill a new hole, Tesoro would be a nice one, also Minelab Musketeer, but they cost more, I'd go with a Black Tesoro,=contact a dealer, they make sevral colors I think, :detecting:
