Any Rockhounds In The P.A.T.H. Club? Gem, Mineral, And Fossil Show Coming Up

The 51st annual Peoria Academy of Science Gem, Mineral, And Fossil Show is coming up on Saturday August 23 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday August 24 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The show is being held at the Grand Hotel; 4400 N. Brandywine Drive, Peoria, Illinois.

Admission is free. Lots of fun things for the whole family to see and do.
 
It sounds like a great day for indoor activities like that. Forecast is 94 degrees and thunderstorms.......
 
That's also a good show. I'll have to check, but I heard something about the MAPS show moving to Iowa next year.
 
It moved last year. Macomb didn't have any pet friendly hotels and the show was losing a lot of vendors.
 
Ok, I'm a year behind, I missed it last year. :rofl: I heard the same thing about the hotels, they changed hands and the new owners are not pet friendly.
 
Sounds good too! We've been to both shows and loved looking except for my back was bent over for a few days later since looking at all the specimens. :surrender:
