Any reports on new 6 inch excelerator coil for mxt? thanks

n/t

I have been testing the 6" Excelerator since around Feb.Check out my post on Mar 6th. It is a great little coil. Good depth, Target seperation, and ease of pinpointing. Since putting in on my MXT it has seldom been off. HH Dennis in Idaho

i have the 4x6 mini coin shooter by whites. Are these excelerator coils better, iam interested in the new 6 inch and there 8 inch.Any thoughts thanks.Want to use at trashy areas and beach.Ground reading here on mxt stock coil is between 60 and 87 depends on area.

I evaluated the 4.5x7 DD Excelerator first then came the 6" DD Excelerator.. I am like a kid in a penny candy store, and yes I am old enough to remember them. So many coils so little time. I started with the Whites 4x6 coil and found it to be a excellent coil. It was designed for high trash areas and it gave good target separation but when the 4.5x7 DD Excelerator came along I liked the bigger footprint along with its excellent depth and great target separation. I liked it better than the 4x6 because when I moved away from high trash areas I did not have to put on a bigger coil. Then the 6" DD Excelerator came along. I took a liking to the thin coil. It along with the 4.5x7 coil had excellent depth, target separation and pinpointed like it had sights. I tested both the 4.5x7 and the 6" DD coils and liked both of them. They are quality coils as is the Whites 4x6, but I personally like the larger coils as they fit my style of hunting better. Kellyco has provided the metal detecting family choices when they buy a new coil. Rest assured that which ever coil you choose it will be of the highest quality a company can provide. Which coil is best, you make the choice.
