The wife wants a meter, but it has to be light.

Only the Ace-250 and the Prizm IV have the right weight/feature combo.

Anything I need to know about the Ace-250?

I bought a 250 in September and promptly lost it to my wife. She loves it. It's light weight, straightforward and doesn't have to take a backseat to any comparably-priced machine nor to a lot of more expensive ones, either. If she decides she doesn't like it, it's still a hot item in the resale market.
