Any particular way using the AT Pro DD loop to help estimate the size of a target?

You can guess the size of a target by raising the coil until the audio disappears. Coin sized objects fade usually in inches, large targets fade in measurements of feet.

Also, in pinpoint mode, if the the target is longer / wider than a coin, you probably have yourself a can!
 
I have used both methods and they work. I often wondered if I have missed caches by not digging cans... But in a trashy area I figure the odds are cans, not caches...
