Any one see differences between the 5" coil and 5 x 10" eliptical coil on 1270

During the time i was running the 1270 and 1236x2 was wondering was i truly missing anything between the 5" coil and the 5 x 10" eliptical coil? had a chance to buy once new but wasn't sure if i really needed it or not, was wondering if there is anyone that has seen the differences between the 2 thinking maybe i've getting another 1270 as a back up i did have very good success with it
 
Yes sir there is a big difference, that 5x10 is running depth wise right along with the 8" and it covers the ground of a 10", not quite as good in trash as the 5" but better than the 8". My 5x10 stays on my 1270 just about all the time.
