Any one hip mount the 2500?

Hobby

I'd like to know if you have hip mounted the 2500 how you did it. I have heard of it being done .Thank' for your help ........Hobby.......:poke:

The battery pack is detachable and has a clip for mounting on your waist. This is due to the weight of this machine. Ive detached and mounted on my hip a couple times during hunting. Because of balancing of the detector I say its better to get use to the weight. It is an awesome machine with size imaging that has the feel of a true professional metal detector.

I was thinking about mounting the control box on a hip mount to liten it up and just wanted to see if some one has tryed it.If you could mont the battery and the control box that would be good. ...Hobby:bouncy:

I have complete instructions on "how-to" on my webpage. But this site continues to block me posting my webpages's URL. Probably spam control.

copy this to your browser.....

at the very bottom, just click on the GTI-2500 picture.

If you have any questions, email me.

You can hip mount the battery pack by just sliding it off and hooking it on your belt. Knocks a pound off the weight. Hip mounting the whole control box would be quite a project.
