a excalibur nicad battery pod. Just got a new one and a 11 hour charge shows me 13.95 volts. Is this about normal? Thanks in advance for any input on this.

That's exactly what I get after 12 hours charging...it will settle down about half a volt to about 13.5v....should get about 10 hours hunt time.

where it should be. The set in the old pod were 7 years old and had not had the best treatment. Now I can do them right and have a backup set so I can charge it the right way. I was only getting about 3 hours last year of hunt time, this year 2, so they were pretty tired. Got the new set from Demarco Detector Sales with the new pod. Fast service and fit my old square eared machine fine.

Tnx again. George-CT
