looking for a introductry model for my son and was kind of currious on this 1212x how does it compare to the tesoro compadre? i notice these go real cheap and i don't want to get him off on the bounty hunters just have no faith in them sorry if i have offend any one.
amcjavelin, i never owned a 1212 but a buddy had one and was very impressed by it. he said it had good depth and was fun to hunt with. i would think it would be comparable to the compadre but maybe a tad deeper because of the bigger coil on the 1212. and it's a fisher so it has to be good right?................roger
