Any of yall still hunting with the Sov XS with the DTI 3 meter???

I've been using mine for years and it's the most accurate ID machine I've ever used.(5 inch coil) ( I've had alot of em') Just wondering if I was the last holdout using the old analog type machine????? Yall go find some good stuff!!

HI Use the SOV XS2APRO and think it is the best machine made by minelab along with the xs. Find a lot of old coins.

The Sovereign XS with the 8 inch coinsearch coil was one of the better Sovereign built, then add the SunRay DTI meter and the S-1 probe and you had a detector that would hunt those deep coins that been hidden for years in those well worked parks. I have used all the different Sovereigns with the SunRay DTI meters and the order I would rate them is the new GT as it is more sensitive and better ID, the XS , the XS2, then the XS2a, the Elite and last the original Sovereign. They all work good, but my luck and finds with each is how I rated them and many will rate them different.

I have the XS2a-pro with the 8" coinsearch, Sunray DTI II and the S-1 probe....I have to say that for the most part this years better finds have been with my Sov. Once I get the deepies figured out, better finds await.

And to tell the truth, I've used the Explorer and can't stand the damm pan flute sounds!!! The sov took me long enough to get used to. Yall have fun!
