Check with “Confetrit”. I think he has both detectors.

Had a Safari and liked it a lot. Slow as molasses in winter compared to the Nox, or the vanquish ( the 540 pro pack is my only minelab now) for that matter. Wish they could revise the safari- etrak with equinox recovery speed.

I went from an Explorer II to the NOX, still miss the display and two numbers together are and Co numbers.

Yuup, I went from the Safari to the 600. Such a huge weight and recovery speed difference. Still have it as a back up. I try to use it a couple times a year just to keep my skills up with it.
