Any light diggers you don't have to bend over to use?

Hey Tabdog have you checked out the long handled diggers at Predator Tools? I use the Hurcules digger. They make some with 28" handles. I carry mine on a tool belt hammer hanger. They are not too heavy IMO. Great diggers also. Just a thought, Beale.

My wife bought the digging tool in the photo at a Big Lot store, think she said it was like $9.99. It extends from 27 inches out to 38 1/2 inches and works well except in hard ground. I bent it where the blade is attached to the handle trying to use it in hard ground but I stuck a round iron rod in and tack welded it so I could use it unless the ground is like concrete. Link below shows Big Lot stores in the Little Rock area if you think you might be interested in one of the diggers. Maybe one of the stores will have them.

I use a margin trowel in soft soil and a Gerber in the hard stuff. Try getting lazy and packing only the trowel and ruin a hunt because it grenaded. I always have 2 in my Jeep.

PS The margin trowel is hard on your wrist if you are not used to using one.
