Round brass ring with some ornate designs inside. Found in old campsite field Ive been hunting. Silver dollar sized.
 
Just a thought, but could it be the front of a photo frame. Round photos on metal plates or stretched over a tin frame were popular.
This would be a nice size for a keepsake photo. Neat, hope you find some more info.
