Found these in a field in central Fl. They were found about 500 ft from each other.

Someone suggested they may be CW era. I dont have a clue.

how big or small are they ???
looks like some sort of bib rivits ????
 
They are rivots, and they are about half the size of a dime.

I guess I am looking for approx when and maybe what they could have been used for. One ID says they look like CW era.
