Found these within 100 yards of each other. The MO pin(button?) looks Cival War era. The buckle has a S inside a shield of some sort.
 
I beleieve you have some turn of the century (early 1900's) items. I suspect the round item is a collar disc for a Missouri National guard unit and the buckle is just an initial buckle. Nice items, I look forward to seeing what the more knowlegable people say.
 
That buckle was made by hickok mfg. founded in 1909.
I cant see it well enough to search for the exact buckle .
Most were monogram buckles.
If you search for hickok buckles you will see many.
 
I guess i could be wrong about the maker I see now other makers made the same style But hickok buckles were very common monogram buckles.
