Any ideas on what the Horn could be?....

Also curious about the buckle- stamped "Shirley" or ?"Khirley"-seems to be brass.
The Horn looks like military or fire dept? Gilded brass from the look of it. Very thin, no points of attachment on the back.
One '41D wheat cent.
These were found today in downtown Carson City,NV residential area where about 100'of sidewalk had been removed and probably several inches of earth :-(

Hope the pics post-- thanks in advance.-- Gary HH

Picked it up at Office Max- they just had a special- $99 for a 3.2 meg with super macro to 2cm- great pics (also had a deal on the 256mb xD cards for $30 after rebate. The sale was over the 19th, but might come around again... Just the thing to take to the UK--can leave the D70 at home!!
