Any ideas on this, gold nugget????

Hi I found this in a north wales field last year only just cleaned it up as it was thick with dirt, and to my surprise it looks gold it's also quite heavy for its size I will weigh it tomorrow and let you know, any ideas on what it is???
 
If it wont clean up any better I would say melted brass, the black green tarnish and yellow points to brass.
 
As far as a test goes nitric acid is what is mostly used to test gold, different percentages for different karts. Pure nitric acid will not react with 24 karat gold, and for the most part naturally occurring gold nuggets are not 24 karat gold, they are much less. And gold nuggets are normally associated with iron not the green leaching of copper like I see on the specimen you posted. If it won
