Found these at a turn of the century park where Im finding a bunch of old coins. Is that a service medal? It is brassy, maybe gilded? The "hook part" on the back looks like it is welded on. It appears it used to go all the way across and is broke in the middle. The other lead piece is obviously a weight of some sort, I cant figure out why there is a hole at each end though. Anybody run into something like this, what is it? a fishing weight? Thanks, CO
