Hello All.
Any ideas on this measures 1and 3/4 inches by 1 and 3/4 inches

Mariner Anchor Crucifix, not that old because it is stamped 925, old silver would be stamped Sterling .
 
By the looks of the back....it appears to be a pin type piece
 
Its known as a Sailor's Cross or Mariner's Cross.

Button version of the Mariner's Crucifix. I found a gold one at Sauvies Island that stands alone without the backing. First one I've seen with a button configuration.
