Found this a while back, and deciding whether to "keep or toss" this item, I wanted to post it and see if anyone knew what it came from? Thanks.
 
By the looks of it it looks like a around a 1950-1956 Pontiac and dont feel it is newer than 1957.
 
Have it sandblasted, filled, and rechromed and it'll be worth some $$

even sanded with a sander, filled with bondo, and spray painted/poly coated and it'd be a nice display piece

Very nice piece. I agree, definately from a Pontiac, and shouldn't be to hard to identify, because it is "split" similar to the 37 8 cyl. Most of them were solid.
