Any Idea On This Pendant?

The pendant was about 6" deep and the nail was aprox the distance from it in the hole as the picture shows. The pendant gave a wheat penny ID. The back side has some junk gold color to while the front looks copper or bronze-like. The back also has the remnants of a safety pin style method to pin it to your shirt I guess.
 
dont poo poo that pendent so fast..... i know old boy scout pins and such have some value..... if this pendent is several decades old and can be nailed down to a specific era i might have a small value to someone...... beats tossing it....
 
Taz42o, that was funny. :biggrin: Seriously though, I always keep anything that even mildly qualifies as a keeper, so I was just joking. I have several boy scouts pins and such and anything, even a button that at least looks old, gets saved. Even stuff I know isn't old, like say a token, gets saved. Heck, I even save odd items like the old decorative top of an iron fence, or in the case of newer stuff those worthless gas tokens with antique cars on them that I guess they handed out in the 80's or so.
