Hi can you please help me I.d this I think it's a coin I found it in a north Wales field, just rinsed it in warm water. it is 15mm diameter and very thin. Thank you in advance Dave.
 
That is a beautiful hammered silver coin over 400 years old! I would be so proud of that as you should be too. Congrats on an AWESOME find!
BRITISH HAMMERED ELIZABETH 1st 1558-1603 1/2 GROAT COIN
I can see the collar of the bust on the obverse and some of the outline of the bust. You have it rotated 1/4 turn clockwise, see pics below....

Almost halfway down on THIS page you can see several examples of coins just like the one you found. It is referred to as Elizabeth 1st hammered silver half groat.
 
Looks to be a silver hammered coin Dave the pics are a bit blurred
can you make out any of the letters on the edge of the coin, then
I will be able to give you a better I D, and what size is the coin.

Call it whatever you want as long as you're not called late to the treasure! I'd take some of that beginners luck any day. I hope it doesn't make finding 200 year old silver boring. :detecting:

Any idea when it from? so far 2silver coins i might be on to something only searched this area a couple of times there my fathers fields there always interesting items coming out of there lots of coins lots of lead from big lumps to small decorative items also snake belt buckles and more, WHYS it all here?????????
