All of the modes are great IMHO depending on your needs. I use Normal response, Ferrous-Coin Separation and Sizing Pinpointing.
The best pattern is the one you make to take care of your specific wants and needs. With XChange2, you can pretty much make what ever pattern you want in a few minutes. (I love that program
) To make it even easier is to start with a factory program and change what you don't like about it, save it and download to the CTX.......done.
I might add that using someone else's pattern doesn't make the CTX any better, it just behaves like the other person wants it to. I suggest getting to know the factory programs, they are all good. You can always go back and tweak them the way you want.
