any good book on T2 LTD or T2?

Hi folks

Just received my T2 LTD today and was wondering if is there any good book for mastering this machine that worth the money.

Thanks
Antonio

I don't know about a book. Just check Monte's threads on here. His main detector is the Omega, but he also likes, and tells a lot about the T2. I don't think you will find anything better in a book than you can find on here. Several others also know a lot about the T2. I have the Omega. After all the reading I have done on here, I wouldn't even need the manual. This is an excellent friendly forum.

1.. The Owner's Manual, and 2.. post on this :teknetics: Forum. :)

There are a number of folks who frequent this forum, some posting regularly and other when they feel the need to speak out from time-to-time. if you have a question, ask away. Someone, I'm sure, will answer.

I will suggest that as you work with your new detector and consider asking anything on a Forum post, you could include information about the different settings used at the time, to include the Sensitivity 9both modes) and the Ground Phase setting, the Discriminate level and your choice of Audio Tones in the Discriminate mode. There is no 'perfect' detector, and no 'perfect' detectorist, however ... with any really good versatile detector (like the T2) mated up with any avid hobbyist or detectorist who has put in the time and effort to master their detector, you'll be close to a well-tuned team of man and machine.

Happy Hunting and, again, "Welcome!"

Monte

PS: As for other "books" I don't know of any at this time, but I know I am working on a couple, starting with the Omega.

Thanks folks I'll try my T2 tomorrow and will let you all know my impressions. I come from troy X5 and Nautilus DMC 2ba.

Cheers
Antonio

As you are a fresh starter I would set the frequency at 70 disc at 10 and sounds at 2+ you will be fine you can then change to suit your own searching.

I don't know about the limited but the T2 is so simple to use you will be up and running in a couple of hours or less. You will always be learning but these machines a really user frindly. Another important thing about the T2 is I use lithium batt. and they last 10 time longer than regular batt. They run so long I usually forget when I put them in. If I hunt for 3 or 4 hours a day for 3 or 4 days a week I don't think about carring extra batt. for 3 or 4 weeks. Good luck and happy hunting.
