Any Feedback on my Sovereign Book?

, the marketing totally sucks , its real hard to sell a book when only a handfull of people are aware there is even a new book out ..... and as always just my overly opinionated opinion .......PLEASE DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY

I see that, I guess it always goes by so quick I never pay attention to it , just like any other advertisemnt I tend to aviod them.He sure seems like a nice knowledgeable fellow I will see about buying the book now ...Thanks take care

Very glad to see that this book is being read and applied--would like to see it out on a few more shelves to be seen though--people see that a book is say 85 or so pages and think- "Can't be much in there!" However, a real lot of hours in the feild are represented in such a book. As well, going from a few notes on a gas reciept in the glove compartment to a finished book is long process--mostly a labour of love for the hobby.
Hope that it's brought a few through the "I'll never find anything" phase and into the reality of what this great detector can do!
Good luck this COMING(!) season,
Clive

I know exactly how you feel Clive. When Mike Keener, and I, put out the "Finding Rings" book back in '97, it was strictly a labor of love, and a desire to share our knowledge about the Sovereign, and Excalibur with others.

I hope you sell a lot of your book. I know it won't make you rich, but hopefully you'll recover some of your expenses. If a person only gets one thing that helps them find more with the Sovereign/Excalibur/Elite/GT, then it was well worth the cover price.

The same goes for the books on the Sovereign that Andy Sabisch did, and the very first Sovereign book by Fred Wagner.

Take care, and good hunting,
OldeTymer

I do not use a Sov and have no intention of getting 1, as I am a deeper water hunter cjc. I purchased the book strictly for the Excal info. I know the 2 units parallel in many areas, however I am looking so forward to your next publication on the Excal ONLY. I will be a player for a copy of this newest edition. I have enjoyed reading your materials and encourage you to continue sharing your excellent knowledge with those of us with a lust for treasure knowledge!

Have had a Sov since they came out in 91 or so and I think a lot of the things you talk about some of us have been doing right along and probably never thought of IDing the processes with names. I wrote a little article years ago, mid 80's for Paul Taintors Thers mag about nugget hunting and I described the processes that you mention as listening for the Shape of the signal...Anyway I enjoyed the book have been reading it and others recently...Found a lot of Very Deep coins last month in Hawaii with my Excal and after watching one of the hunters I saw over there I know why the deep coins are still very prevelent on that particular beach...HH...Geo
