Any Coin$trike finds lately?

I'll get a chance to get my Coin$trike out this weekend if the weather permits. I've got 2 old 1800's homeplaces to hunt this weekend that are out in the middle of nowhere. I doubt they have been hunted but I could be wrong. Hopefully I'll find out. If you have found anything good with a Coin$trike lately, let's see it.

Mike

Oh yeah, I will be using the Garmin Etrex I just got too. At least I don't have to worry about getting lost. Especially considering I haven't spent hardly anytime in the woods I'll be in.

Recently at a trashy site with the small coil while filming for the second DVD. That's how I keep it set-up in the back of the jeep, with the small coil on it at all times. I'm on my new laptop & don't have a picture of it.....If I find it I'll post it later.

That's what I'm going to use this weekend. The Coin$trike and the 5" coil. I really do like that setup and it works very well. If I find anything good I will post it here.

The small coil is killer in tot lots, it can get right next to the equipment and it loves those round things.

I usted to call it "scoreboard watching". In heavy iron trash you see like a sea of negative digits flashing on the screen. More often than not a + number sneaking into all those negatives is all you need to see to unmask something....Isolate it from more than 1 direction & you'll know it's a positive target. Occationally you get fooled with a + sign slipping in, (like big iron might generate a plus), but to me it's worth digging to be able to sneak out a few more targets in places that are considered hunted out or 2 trashy. The Excel & Edge accomplish the same thing, some would say possibly even better as they are not quite as powerful.....

Bill
