Any Coiltek Joey coil users out there ?

Good coil for small items, in max sensitivity possible to dig unseeable targets and some tiny iron wire pieces, with this coil I can go to macro world :stretcher:....I can get smaller targets then with my Tesoro Tejon with 5,75 coil.
Construction is not perfect too, cant be used under water, but coil is light and not bad. But if you like to dig coins and not something macro,. dont buy it. Borrow for test.

Excellent report Stasys , thank you . I had already bought a like new , used one at a very good price but I didn't think I was going to get a chance to use it for some time . I hardly ever see any used ones for sale and I've been curious about them for a while now .
Surprisingly , I got a chance to use it for a couple of hours last night . I used it at a nearby school which has been hunted a lot . I tried it in the dirt and a wood chips tot lot . I dug some macro targets like you said , three of them ( in the wood chips) I gave up on , they must have been shotgun pellets or smaller . They were on the surface and I was pushing them along with my Pro pointer and I still couldn't see them :surprised: . I knew it wasn't waterproof but I have other coils that are . It is light and easy to swing and I dug some coins in the 3" to 5" and a modern , quarter sized token at 6" which sounded off loudly. I also dug two" iffy " signals at 6" and 7" that turned out to be medium sized nails ( I do that a lot with the Explorer SE ) . It grabs targets and sounds of strongly , I like that .I'm glad I got it used otherwise it's a bit out of my price range . I will be testing it out some more but It looks like a keeper to me . Thanks again Stasys .:beers:
looks like a keeper the weight and the way it swings are two huge plusses for me .

It is a great coil and loves tiny little little items...VERY hot on them...such as earring backs...etc.

Thanks Bryce , I'm going to check and see if they have any of that issue left and order one as I enjoy reading your field test findings . I was surprised as to how well the Joey sounded off on tiny items . I definitely have a few spots that I'm going to have to go back over with it .
