Any coil cover tricks

wooden paint stirrer or similar. Put stirrer on edge of cover and tap it lightly with a hammer. Work it all around the cover and keep moving around the cover. Have to go around it many times moving the cover off just a little at a time until it gets far enough off to pull it off with your fingers.

For the most part I am now leaving the covers off.

Before i read your post i put hot water in the sink and let it sit for a few.
I was able to remove it just with my fingers with not much effort.
But thanks for the tip.

I'm spraying mine now with a truck bed liner,,,, never have to clean it or remove it,,,, just add another coat if you need to cover scratches

When I bought my CZ-3D it had a lite weight treasure wise cover already on the coil It looks cheap,But I will say one thing it goes on and off alot easier than the fisher made one. And is alot liter if weight is a concern. I have a bad shoulder so every bit helps. I'm trying to avoid chest\hip mounting if possible.

BEFORE you put your cover back on, inscribe your name, your phone number and another identifying number inside the bottom of the cover, NOT the coil. IF your machine ever gets stolen and the police find it OR it gets sent into the shop to be repaired. Maybe just MAYBE you can have it recovered with your information on the inside of the cover.
