Found this in my yard. Looks like the number "41" on it. Thickness is not universal- 1/8" at its thickest.[attachment 30248 IM000866.JPG]. Thanks for any help.
 
The picture is not the best. There is not a hole at the top. Back is blank. It is rough cast. You can see the drops of metal on the surface. Friend states that he has found these before at logging camps but has no idea what they are.
