Any Cannon Ball Authorities?

Anyone have any info as to origin or age of cannonball with cast circle with 16 in center? I thought maybe 16 was weight, but its not 16 lbs. I am landclearing contractor in florida, on east coast south of Cocoa Beach 20 miles. Found while excavating probably at 3 to 4ft.deep, inland about 8 miles. Any guesses? Thank's.
 
Must be so rare that no one on this forum has ever seen one, Great, Guess that pushes the price, Come On Guys Someone must know something ? Besides round, heavy,rusty,?
