Yesterday While diggin with Jason I dug 2 what I thought were enfields. I've never dug one so I didnt know what they looked like in the base. Tonight I was looking at the one that was in best shape and saw what I thought was dirt in the base so I got a toothpic and descided to clean it. The toothpick stuck and I noticed the base wobbled so I worked it loose and it is a lead type plug. The sides are concaved into a cavity and the plug slides down into it. The inside of the bullet looks to have maybe some powder or something inside it. I left it loose to take some pics and reinserted the lead plug. Here's some pics. Can anyone tell me what this bullet is? Thanks in advance for any help....Jim
