any body prospected with pistol probe?

Will get a BB at about one inch. This probe has way more depth and sensitivity than any other pinpointer that I have used. and it will work well in highly mineralised ground.
 
Hi, have you tested it on lead? Lead has a similar conductivity as gold. ideally, if the pistol probe finds a lead item the size of a bb, then it's good enough for me.

Hi NVmar,
I use one all the time. I use it with my TDI gold prospecting, as well as my MXT. I never leave home with out it. I have found gold in the hole with it, and after rechecking the hole before filling it in and have found tiny little grains in the side of the hole I would have missed with out it.
