Any body know about art?......................

The story behind this painting (6X10) is that during WWII, my mom's family sent a care package to Europe for families in need and in this package was a watercolor set, some months later, my mom's family recieved this painting expressing gratitude for the package, what strikes me is the quality of this painting, the painting is entitled "Am Chiemsee" I took a close-up of the signature and I can figure the first name as "hans" but have difficulty with the last name other than knowing the first letter is "H", anyone help on this?..................

And someone even located an oil painting by the same name which looks like a closer view of the lighthouse, interesting, but still no luck identifying the artist..............
