Any AT GOLD gold nugget finds out there?

I'm thinking about purchasing the AT GOLD for prospecting but I'm wondering just wondering how good is this machine at finding gold nuggets.

Is there anyone on this forum who has had success in finding gold?

Would love to see some photos or videos of what you have found and hear your stories about how you think this detector performs when using it to search for natural gold.

Yes a very good nugget detector. Found my first AT Gold nug couple weeks ago. The smallest nugget I had ever found with a detector at I'm guessing .03 grams. The reasom I have to guess is because I accidently dropped it back into the river while trying to show my buddy and could not find it again. Great machine so far!

I have also seen on Garrett's Facebook page that a fellow in Georgia has found some nice little nuggets there with his AT Gold...

He he! Talk about the one that got away, you must have been so @/!!!/ off when you dropped that nugget.

Hey guys, is this all the gold that has been found with the AT GOLD to date, just one tiny nugget. I'm starting to go a bit cold on purchasing this detector if I can't get some more stories and photos of your finds proving just how good this detector really is.

Look forward to hearing from a lot more of you.

Yeh I was pissed off...heres a pic of the AT Gold nuggets from Georgia and a link to more...

It is always interesting to see the gold finds in the Carolinas and Georgia. You see all the hipe about the western states, Canada and Alaska, but the fact remains that those southern hills have more gold than most people think. I used to live between Greenville SC and Spartinburg. I could find gold in any creek in the area and I even found it in a drainage ditch coming out of my subdivision. When the goldrush occured, all the miners ran of to California leaving a bounty that remains even today.

Gold nuggetrs are essentially pure gold. When they are sold they will have to be melted down so they can be sold in bullion or some other finished form. Might they have some other metals in them?, possibly but it will be minor to the point of not affecting the price you get for them. Do not expect to get the price of gold you see quoted every day on CNBC or on the internet. Too many hands and the processing costs need to get their cut too.
