Any advice on a replacement for my Eagle II sl.

The old Eagle II just isn't as healthy as it used to be. I sure wish there was an Eagle III. I coin shoot most of the time in yards and parks. Here in Nebraska the soil don't have much mineralization. The things I like about the Eagle II is that I can hunt fast and can accept or reject anything I want and it will get a dime at nine inches in most places. The M6 looks like it might be a worthy replacement. Seems to have a large variety of coils and easy to operate. Haven't heard much about what kind of depth it is capable of. Is it a noisy machine in tone id mode? Would it be a good machine in competition hunts? I have read that it has fast target response and separation. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

The M6 is a coin killer. It has very good depth. You can't knotch things out but learn the tones. I have used it with the Eclipse 6x10 and loved it but wanted to try the 5.3. An M6 w/5.3 and a sunray probe would be a smokin park setup great target id and seperation. I have the M6 and really like it for coins but settled on the MXT do to wanting to detect for meteorites and prospecting.
