any advantage to GB at each site?

When I first had the ctx I would ground balance at each site... Now I just turn on and hunt. What do the rest of you do? Just wondering if I should start the practice again or If it really matters.

I don't have my manual handy but I believe that it states the the GB should be disabled unless your are hunting saltwater beaches.

Most make sure that the enable GB box is unchecked and do not GB.

Don't GB unless you want to jeopardize your depth and sensitivity. Doing GB when it isn't necessary is a big no-no. Just leave it disabled.

I did see a minelab video about GB and that leaving GB enabled was the leading cause of Iron falsing with new users. Since that time 4 months ago it's between unchecked... However, maybe the question is what situation Warrents manually ground balancing? Just trying to understand how to get the most out ofthis awesome machine. Thanks to ask for your insights.

Ground Balancing... I usually just let the machine do it automatically, just wondering when It might be useful to do it manually?

turn the GB OFF! Stop it. This is NOT a single freq VLF. The instructions even say to not GB unless you are in extremely bad ground.

'Jason in Enid said it right!'

Leave it OFF unless your Auto Sens drops below from 15 back to 9
