just got my x-terra 305 and wondering if anyone in the area of mass had one and could give me some pointers. read through faq and watched some youtube but some hands on from someone in the know would be great. i'm hoping it's an upgrade from my radio shack detector but without the know how to use it i'm not sure it will be. thanks

Your 305 will find clad, silver coins and rings just as deep and as well as the 505 and 705 from what I've been told.

I know that I really like mine and it's really fun to use.

The fact that I'm into it around $200 bucks makes it that much sweeter.:)

You made a wise choice getting the 305.

Dollar for dollar it's one of the best VID detectors out there.

thanks for all the input. and if there are any users in Massachusetts that want to maybe get out for a hunt and show a newb a few tricks then i'd be game. happy hunting to you all.
