Went to an open field where a house once stood in the late 1800's and all thats left is the old well. Last fall I found my first large cent (1856) and a 1902 IH at this site. This week I found this old dragonfly brooch. The hasp is on the back but the pin is gone. It is 2"x2" and has 2 peridot stones in it. Any info about it would be appreciated.

Hi. All I can tell you is that it looks victorian. Nice find! Is there any hallmarks or numbers on the back?
