Antique bottle!

nugget

New member
Hi all, I was prospecting a very trashy site and got a good signal. There was the top and a bit of the neck of a bottle where the signal was. I drove the walco into the ground and levered up the signal source (junk) what came out amazed me! It was'nt just the neck and top of the bottle it was intact, I did'nt even scratch it. I've tried to find out on the web what it was used for and if it had any value. It is handmade with the top put on by hand too. I saw the same shape bottles dating from the 1800's. It does'nt have any name or brand mark on it, but there was 3 distinct diamond shaped (bubbles) in the wall of the bottle. When I learn how to post photo's on the site I will do so, then maybe someone can give me a history of the item? and an approx value. God bless, Nugget.
